For the majority of companies English-only SEO is the default, since so much of the world’s business is done in English. Or is it? Most people are not aware that 75% of the world does not speak English and that only around 5%of internet users in the world use English-based sites. Naturally, they prefer to use their native language to search for information and also to make purchases.
This translates into a conceivable loss of up to 95% of would-be clients. Obviously, this is an unacceptable number. So, what is the solution? Multilingual SEO.
This means translating a company’s web content into as many languages as possible to attract business from across the globe.
