I just returned from the LIGNA Show in Hannover, Germany. In addition to the enormous amount of work that ASIST has been involved with in helping us introduce our new company to 7,000 employees worldwide, ASIST has played a significant role in helping our current company, Borden Chemical, project a professional image at Europe’s largest industry gathering for forestry and woodworking professionals.

With ASIST’s help, we introduced a new 12-page brochure in German and Portuguese and a two-page overview in Russian, French, Spanish, and Chinese. In addition to the literature, ASIST was responsible for translating the text that ran through three videos on high-definition television screens. All of these were produced in a very short time frame, working with several different graphics suppliers.

As I stood on the exhibit floor listening to my colleagues from around the world, I was thrilled by their reactions to the translations. Very specifically, the German and Brazilian attendees were quite convinced that we had the translations done in the respective countries. I was very proud to inform them that they were produced in Columbus, Ohio.

I wanted to convey my gratitude and appreciation for the great work ASIST did on a recent case I handled… This case presented a number of challenging translation issues, and ASIST was able to tackle them all in a highly professional and expeditious manner.

Criminal cases have many unexpected issues arise that need to be dealt with quickly… ASIST was not only exceptionally quick in responding to these requests, but did such a thorough and first-rate job of them that the defense counsel was similarly impressed…

On a number of occasions during the negotiations for this case, both the defense counsel and I worked with ASIST Court Interpreters. Every single one of them was prompt, professional, highly capable, and facilitated our work tremendously. I am impressed with and grateful for their contribution as well.

In sum, I am very pleased with the work ASIST did on this matter and look forward to working with ASIST in the future. Please convey my gratitude and appreciation to all those individuals involved.

I just wanted to send you a note to thank you for the excellent service your company provided during the ISO 14001 campaign. You translated and typeset this large program in 10 different languages so that it would fit in the printed items that we designed for English. We got rave reviews from the countries that received the material. Your professionalism and thoroughness made working on this project a pleasure. I look forward to our next project together.
